Obituary of Irene Laura Gasiorek

Marie Irene Laura Gasiorek, 93, of Danielson, died Friday, December 17, 2010 at Regency Heights, she was born July 25, 1917 in Manchaug, MA daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Lamoure) Frechette. She was the wife of the late Henry Gasiorek, they were married on November 11, 1944, he died in 1995. She was a communicant of St. James Church in Danielson. She worked for Arrow-Hart and retired after 62 years. She loved to spend time with family, friends and her grandchildren. She enjoyed bowling, gardening, hairdressing and sewing and was an avid walker. She loved to lend a helping hand by volunteering at a local place or by making a meal for someone in need. She was a true Good Samaritan. She truly enjoyed the Sunday dinners she prepared for her family at her home. She leaves her daughter, Anne Marie Peckham of Danielson, a son Henry Gasiorek, Jr. and his wife Michele of Daville, her brothers, Leo Frechette of Danielson and Ernest Frechette of Moosup, a sister Rita Spear of Brooklyn, her grandchildren, Krista Peckham of Dunnellon, FL, Kimberly Painter of Willimantic, and Leslie Allard and her husband John of Danielson, Henry Gasiorek, III and his wife Julie of Ballouville, great grandchildren, Joshua and Kaitlyn Allard of Danielson.
