Obituary of Bonita E. Moore

Bonita E. Moore, 66, of Red Cedar Road, Woodstock Valley , CT, died Sunday at the Day Kimball Hospital in Putnam. She was the beloved wife of Eric R. Moore, they were married in 1966 at Our Lady of Pompeii in East Haven. She was born September 19, 1944 in New Haven, daughter of the late Anthony and Elizabeth (Jenkins) Pochodowicz. She was employed at Numa Tool Company in Thompson, CT for over 24 years, as Payroll Manager and bookkeeper. She reti red in 2010 due to poor health. She had made her home in Woodstock Valley for forty years. Bonita enjoyed working with Ceramics, cooking and fishing with her husband. She was a hard working, loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She leaves her husband Eric, her children: Christin Silva of North Scituate, RI and Woody Moore of Pawtucket, RI; her siblings: Michael Pochodowicz of Virginia; Paul Pochodowicz of East Haven; Barbara Bachelor of Orlando, FL; her granddaughter: Ashleigh Lefebvre. Calling hours will be Saturday, January 15, 2011 from 12 Noon to 2:00 PM with a Prayer Service at 2:00 PM at the Smith and Walker Funeral Home, 148 Grove Street, Putnam, CT .
