Obituary of Leopold J. Thibault

Leopold J. Thibault, 79, of Pratt Road, Plainfield, died Sunday January 23, 2011 at home. He was the beloved husband of Lorraine (Bonneau) Thibault, they were married July 4, 1959. He was born July 14, 1931 in Canada, son of the late Israel and Marie Louise (Therrien) Thibeault. He had made his home in Plainfield for over 51 years, a communicant of ST John Church in Plainfield. He was employed as a custodian for the Plainfield Board of Education for over ten years, also working at Pervel Industries, InterRoyal and Young Brothers Lumber. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening, traveling and maintaining his home. Leopold had a great love for his family and the outdoors. He leaves his wife Lorraine, his son Paul Thibault and his wife Lori of Plainfield, his brother John Thibeault and his wife Rolande of Plainfield, his sister Jacqueline Matteau of Plainfield, his beloved grandchildren Aarron, Adam, Megan, Kalista, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his siblings Alexander, Joseph, Gerard, Marie Rose, Noela, Suzanne. The family would like to thank Vitas Hospice for their exceptional care. Funeral will be Saturday, Januar 29, 2011 at 10:00 AM from the Gagnon and Costello Funeral Home, 33 Reynolds Street, Danielson, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM at ST John Church, 10 Railroad Avenue, Plainfield, Burial in ST John Cemetery.
