Obituary of Bernadette C. Laplante

Bernadette C. Laplante, 91 of Maple Courts, Danielson, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Monday, February 7, 2011 at Matulaitis Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Leo G. Laplante, he died in 1995. She was born January 20, 1920 in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, daughter of the late George and Desneiges Berard. She had made her home at Matulaitis Nursing Home in Putnam for the last 11 years moving from Maple Courts in Danielson. In 1995 she relocated with her husband to Danielson from New Bedford, MA. She loved to play games and was a fun loving person. She leaves her children: Donald Laplante and his wife Charlotte of Providence, Joan Lambert and her husband John of Danielson, she was the beloved grandmother of Dawn Dawson and her husband Brad of Charlestown, RI; Lucinda Lambert Hutchinson and her husband Ken of Worcester, MA, Chris Lambert and his wife Denise of North Attleboro, MA, and beloved great grandmother of Brandon; Nicholas; Caitlyn; Alaina and Kearsten. A Memorial Mass will be held Friday at 11:00 AM at St. James Church, 12 Franklin Street, Danielson. Burial in the spring in Westfield Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Matulaitis Activities Department, 10 Thurber Road, Putnam, CT 06260.
