Obituary of Frank E. Riley

Frank E. Riley, 55, of Five Mile River Road, Putnam, died Monday at the Matulaitis Nursing Home in Putnam. He was the beloved husband of Doreen (Carpenter) Riley; they were married December 18, 1977. He was born June 5, 1955 in Putnam, son of John F. and Fay J. (Lamphere) Riley. Frank worked for the last 13 years at Loos & Company as a Die Cutter; he retired in August of 2010 due to illness. He had also worked at Anglo Fabrics in Webster and Hale Manufacturing in Yantic and Putnam. He enjoyed watching television especially wrestling and classic TV shows of the sixties and seventies. Frank Had a great love and care for all kinds of animals. He leaves his wife of 32 years, Doreen, two daughters, Jennifer Marie Bellone of Manchester; Patricia Ann Riley of Danielson; six grandchildren, his siblings: John F. Riley of Chandler, AZ; Joseph P. Riley of Woodstock; Michael D. Riley of Lewiston, ME; Anna Dexter of Windham; several nieces and nephews; and his dog Gizmo and cat Calli.
