Linda was a wonderful mother-in-law. I feel blessed to not have had a m-i-l that needed to be up in my business all the time. Despite what she might have said, she was a wonderful cook in her cooking days. She never served a meal that I didn't enjoy. Although, I did frequently ask, "Where's the gravy?" Only to find out there wasn't any! :) Linda was always considerate of our parenting style and never foisted her opinions about child-rearing on us. If she ever thought we should do something differently I never knew it because she never said it out loud. She was a gentle and loving Grandma to Madison and Thomas, who will miss her terribly. I will miss her very much and many things will make me think of her fondly for the rest of my life. Books, naps, movies, birds, magazines, naps, games.....especially Scrabble, puzzles, naps, desserts, diet coke, naps, appendages...aka pocketbooks, and the belief that no matter what else.....the hair must look good!
Farewell to a great lady.
With all my love,
Chris
