I remember the daay that you came to my booth at the Boston Gift show about 42 years ago and asked me to sell Truc for you. The memory of that and all of the brilliant things that you did that other people couldn't necessarily see has stayed with me until this day. REBECCA--Please contact me if you ever visit your family in Atlanta. My home number is 770-463-9350. It would be great to reeunite after all these years. We live in a rural area South of Atlanta called Serenbe www.serenbe.com It's a long way from the night that we visited at your house in 1973 which was the night before we moved to Atlanta.

I was privileged to spend some time with Cy talking about film and Janus' early years. He helped me prepare the French film course for Woodstock Academy. As a young student at Harvard in the Summer of 1963, I spent many wonderful hours at the Brattle St theater and and TRUC.
Cyrus was a remarkable visionary.
Sending warm thoughts to Rebecca and family

My memories of Cy is as my employer. I worked for Crabtree and Evelyn for over 20 years. Under his ownership it was truly a family business and he always made us feel like family. You wanted to give your best because that is how he ran his business, he gave us his best. He shared many wonderful benefits to us, rewarded us and thanked us. I remember an outing for lunch at his house for the department I worked thanking us for a conversion that was done. It was a fun wonderful time. I'm thankful for the fond memories and the opportunity to work for such a wonderful man. You are missed. May God comfort Rebecca and the family at this time. My sympathies,

Dear Rebecca and Family,
I was so saddened to hear of Cy’s passing. Then I began to think of the wonderful memories I had of this wonderful man.
It is hard to believe that 18 years ago I came to Woodstock to work with you (Rebecca) and Cy. My time working with you and Cy was a very happy time in my life, and I thank you both for this. Along the challenge of living in a rural area, this experience really made me reflect on what was important and how to relax. I remember at my interview how welcoming you and Cy were and how adorable the Corgis were especially Winston. I also remember Cy saying if you like the country and dogs this is the place for you. Debbie and I remember this day. I fondly remember just how wonderful Crabtree was as a place to work, and make life-long friends. Cy was one of these friends.
Cy was always so kind and had the best insights, I remember him speaking about how the company grew from soap to a full concept. He was truly “Le Roi du Savon”.
My deepest Sympathy, but fondest Memories will live on.

Rebecca, you may not remember me, you hired me to run TRUC Poster Gallery in Cambridge in 1968, where I happily remained for a year or two. I remember you and Cy so well, just now googled you both, so many years intervening! I just appear here to give you a friendly "hello" in remembrance of days long past and in gratitude for our brief friendship.
