Lewis, 55, of Huntley Road, Dayville, CT, died Saturday, May 14, 2011 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Francis Lewis; they were married December 31, 1987 in Whipple’s Chapel. She was born October 3, 1955 in Putnam, daughter of Loretta (Lawton) Raymond of Dayville and the late Vincent Raymond. Diane was a devoted wife and mother. She enjoyed the outdoors, camping, swimming, was an avid reader and scrap booker. She leaves her husband Francis and her mother Loretta, her children, Christopher Lewis of Webster, MA; Joshua Lewis of Woodstock; Tanya Bradford and her husband Clyde of Chesapeake, VA; Frances Ramharak and her husband Michael of Waterville, ME; her sisters, Charlotte Aldrich of Putnam; Karen Beaulieu of Dayville; four grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. The Funeral will be Wednesday May 18, 2011 at 10:00 AM from the Gagnon and Costello Funeral Home, 33 Reynolds Street, Danielson, CT, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in ST Joseph Church, 350 Hartford Pike, Dayville. Calling Hours Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Funeral Home. Burial in Holy Cross Cemetery.
