Obituary of Linda M. Briere

Linda M. Briere, 49, of Perry Street, Putnam, died unexpectedly Saturday evening at her home. Linda was the beloved wife of Albert H. G. Briere, they were married October 4, 1986. She was born September 14, 1961 in Norwich, daughter of Peter P. and Mary Ann (Gilbert) Szruba. She was a faithful member of the Faith Bible Evangelical Free Church in Woodstock. She leaves in addition to her husband, and mother and father; her three children: Kristen, Faith, Aubrey-lynn; and a brother Peter Szruba, Jr. and a sister Jenny Chapman. A Memorial Service will be Saturday at 1:00 PM at the Faith Bible Evangelical Free Church, 587 Route 171, Woodstock, CT 06281. Calling Hours Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Smith and Walker Funeral Home, 148 Grove Street, Putnam, CT. Linda gave the gift of sight and healing through tissue donation.
