Obituary of Jean C. Deroko

Jean Deroko, 82, of Putnam died Wednesday, July 13, 2011 at Webster Manor, Webster, MA. She was the wife of the late George J. Deroko, he died in 1995. Jean was born June 21, 1929 in Norwich, CT, daughter of the late Albert and Beatrice Powel. She has made her home in the Putnam area since the 1950's. She worked as an office clerk at Cargill Chevrolet in Putnam for over 17 years. She leaves her children: Kevin Deroko and his wife Kathy of Webster, MA; Richard Deroko and Nancy Deroko both of California; grandchildren: Elizabeth Ann; Sarah Elizabeth; Heather; Jonathan; great grandchildren Brenna Elizabeth; Gabriel Kevin. The Funeral Service will be 11:00 AM Saturday, July 16, 2011 at Smith & Walker Funeral Home, 148 Grove Street, Putnam, CT. Calling Hours Saturday from 10:00 AM until time of service. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Central Village, CT.
