Aunt Margaret was our neighbor for 49 years. She was one of the first people I met when I moved to Eastford in 1962. She traveled with me to Denver on a number of occasions and our daughter Brenda was born in the back seat of her car Dec. 9, 1966. She was a special part of our family and accepted us as part of her family. My children remember "Splash" parties and she was a 4H header for two of them teaching them to sew. She always made my husband Wayne a special sweet bread for Christmas which was such a treat. She became "another Mother" and will be missed but gave us many fond memories.

I remember when I was 11 or 12 and my sister and I were down the road at Grandma Day's house having all sorts of fun...being loud and screaming cause she was playing with the hose outside. When we went home we got in trouble for being so loud. Grandma Day thought it was funny and laughed very hard that we got yelled at. I will always remember her as a sweet, caring, loving women that would do anything for you. Plus she was a great cook! Love you Grandma Day
