Obituary of Barbara P. Zamagni

Barbara P. Zamagni, 86, of Senexet Road, Putnam, died Friday, February 10, 2012 at the Day Kimball Hospital in Putnam. She was the beloved wife of William Zamagni, Sr., they were married October 7, 1944. She was born February 18, 1925 in Putnam, daughter of the late Charles and Victoria (Desrosiers) Popple. She was a communicant of St. Mary Church of the Visitation, and had made her home in Putnam all her life. Barbara was a school teacher in the Putnam Middle School for 21years, retiring in 1991. She was a member of the Sarah Williams Chapter of the DAR, Danielson. She leaves her husband William, her children: William Zamagni, Jr. and his wife Kathleen of Putnam; Pamela Coderre and her husband Maurice of Putnam; Charles Zamagni and his wife Nancy of Putnam; Penelope Zamagni and her husband Robert Baskerville of Todd, NC; five grandchildren: Derek Coderre and wife Stacie; Lance Coderre and wife Lisa Tonnessen; Jason Zamagni and his wife Eileen; Mathew Zamagni; Andrew Zamagni; seven great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, February 16, 2012 at 10:30 AM in St. Mary Church of the Visitation, 218 Providence Street, Putnam, followed by burial in St. Mary Cemetery.
