Obituary of Diane M. Anderson

Diane "Dee Dee" M. Anderson, 66, of Woodstock died Friday, March 23, 2012 at home in Woodstock. She was the wife of the late Carl G. Anderson who died in 1999. Diane was born on August 17, 1945, in Williamsport, PA, daughter of the late Charles P. and G. Marie (Beiter) Shooter. She graduated from Tourtellotte Memorial High School in 1963. Together with first her husband, then her son, Steven, she co-owned and operated Carl's Service Station, Inc in Quinebaug. She is survived by a daughter: Terri L. Warren and her husband Richard of Eastford and a son: Steven C. Anderson and his wife Melinda of Woodstock; sisters: Carol Walberg of Woodstock, Katherine "Kitty" Koss of Woodstock, and a brother: Dennis Shooter of Columbia; four grandchildren, Andrew Warren, Travis Anderson, Lucas Warren and Michaela Anderson and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Thomas Shooter. A Memorial Service will be Thursday, March 29, 2012 at 3:00 PM at The Congregational Church of Eastford, 8 Church Road, Eastford, CT.
