Obituary of Harold L. Ames

Harold L. Ames, 82, formerly of Brooklyn and Canterbury, died Tuesday April 10, 2012. He was the husband of the late Aleda (Langevin) Ames. Harold retired from the Lisbon Textile Print, and he served in the Army Air Force. His family and his Faith in Jesus Christ were of the utmost importance in his life. He leaves his children Margaret Lariviere of Danielson; Les Ames of Brooklyn; Angela Dzialo of Voluntown; Robert Ames of Brooklyn; a brother Sidney Ames of Canterbury; a sister Evelyn Cheverier of Stafford Springs; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son Ronald Ames and a sister Brenda Charboneau. A Memorial Service will be held April 29, 2012 at 5:00 PM at the Gospel Light Church, Jolly Commons, 132 Wauregan Road, Danielson 06239. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Harold's memory to the Gospel Light Church - Missions Fund,132 Wauregan Road, Danielson, CT 06239.
