Obituary of Armand Soucy

Armand Soucy April 11, 1943 - April 6, 2012 Armand Soucy, 68, of Robert Street, Brooklyn, died Friday at Regency Heights in Danielson. Born in Danielson, CT, son of the late Eugene and Marie (Chabot) Soucy. He was a communicant of St. James Church in Danielson. He was employed at Jacob's Rubber as a machine operator for several years, he also was employed at Loos and Company, Staples, as a Security Guard at the Plainfield Dog Track, and Part time School Bus Driver. He had a great sense of humor and was a story teller. He will be remembered as a very caring and kind person who would give you the shirt off his back. He was an avid bowler, with the Jacob's Rubber League, was a fan of the Red Sox, New England Patriot's and Washington Redskins. He leaves his sister Doris Soucy of Brooklyn, several cousins including Barbara Bousquet of Brooklyn, Jerry Bousquet of Brooklyn, Godfather of Shannon Bousquet of Griswold and he will be sorely missed by her. He leaves his cats Mama, T.G., Smokey and Bambi. He was predeceased by a brother Alfred Soucy and a sister Joan M. Soucy. A Graveside Service will be Friday, April 20, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Holy Cross Cemetery, Maple Street, Danielson. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Armand's memory to St. James School, 120 Water Street, Danielson, CT 06239
