Obituary of MaryAnn McNulty

MaryAnn McNulty, 73 formerly of East Quassett Road, Woodstock, CT, died Monday, April 16, 2012 at the Pierce Memorial Baptist Home in Brooklyn, CT. She was the wife of the late Gerald McNulty, he died in 2002. She was born April 17, 1938, in New Britain, CT, daughter of the late John and Ann Moguliski.

MaryAnn was a wife, mother, grandmother, sister and a friend. She worked as a supervisor at the Group Home at the Dempsey Center in Putnam for many years, caring for those that could not care for themselves. She had made her home in Woodstock since 1968. She enjoyed gardening and planting, trips to the ocean, and cooking.

She leaves behind her children Thomas McNulty and his wife Robin of Putnam, Marlene Robarts and her husband Kurt of Bradford, MA, grandchildren Aidan Robarts and Connor McNulty. She was predeceased by a son Gary McNulty in 2004.

Calling Hour will be Saturday April 28, 2012 from 12:00 to 1:00 PM at the Smith and Walker Funeral Home, 148 Grove Street, Putnam, CT, followed by a Funeral Service at 1:00 PM. Burial will be in North Woodstock Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to the Connecticut Special Olympics, 2666 State Street, Suite 1, Hamden, CT 06517-2232.
