My mama was always the most caring and concerned individual, especially when it came to people she loved. If it was even sprinkling outside you could count on a phone call from her telling you to "be careful, stay inside and don't drive anywhere because there is going to be a storm." She loved all things fashion and could tell you anything about the trends for each season. She loved when things were "very pricey" and found them for a steal at Sally's boutique. I know she's up in Heaven scratching away at her scratch tickets, reading her magazines and drinking coffee milk. She had the biggest heart, open to absolutely anyone and everyone. Though these memories will always be some of my best of her, I' d have to say my ultimate memory of her is her being the biggest supporter and cheerleader of our dreams and aspirations. There was nothing you couldn't do, in her eyes. As tragic and painful as her passing may be, I am so blessed to have known her in my life and even more so to have been privileged enough to call her my grandmother. May she rest peacefully and finally free of pain, always watching over us.
