Obituary of Lillian Mae Hutengs

Lillian Mae Hutengs 90, of Woodstock, died July 25, 2013 at home. Beloved wife of Walter J. Hutengs for 41 years, they were married July 28, 1962, he died October 19, 2003. She was born September 17, 1922 in Perham, ME, daughter of the late George and Clare Jackson. She spent 25 years in Plainville, CT before moving to Woodstock where she made her home for over 40 years. Lillian was a member Frederica Chapter, 110 Order of the Eastern Star for more than 50 years and of the First Congregational Church of Woodstock. She leaves her son, Don and his wife Mary of AR, three daughters, Wanda and her husband Bob of OK, Ann Marie of CT and Loretta and her husband Jeff of MD, 10 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and one great great grandson, two sisters, a brother, several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her oldest daughters Elaine and Janice. A Memorial Service will be Wednesday, July 31, 2013 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at the First Congregational Church of Woodstock, 543 Route 169 Woodstock, CT. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Hospice of NE CT, PO Box 632, Putnam, CT 06260, a program of Day Kimball Homecare.
