Barbara was an elegant, kind woman who loved with abandon and laughed the same. Even though she had 5 children of her own, my brother Russell and I were always welcomed openly. She was a hard-headed woman who took care of her children, a household, horses, and was able to control a large German Shepherd, Freida! As a very small girl, this was most important! Barbara was a dear friend of my mother Caroline and I know the strength and love she was able to share with my mom made all the difference in the world.
