Dear Mary,
I am so sad to learn of Dickie's passing. He was such a great man, and so supportive of me in my short tenure at KHS. Those days seem like a lifetime ago, but you, Dick and Alain remain a prominent part of my memories of Killingly. Renee and I send our love to you in this difficult time.
Warmly,

Mary, JP and Alain,
So surprised and sad to read of Dickie's passing. He always had a smile and a helping hand. Such a gentle man. I have fond memories of music trips and KHS music events when he and the rest of you were involved with our program and the Boosters. My thoughts and condolences are sincerely sent. Far too young.

We offer you our deepest condolences. Dich was a kind, generous, happy man. He was always there to cheerfully lend a helping hand whenever needed - from helping to load up dogshow trucks to changing a tire for a stranded woman to urging generators to run when they didn't want to. Dick was a true, loved fixture in the dog show world.
We are all so proud of lovely Kolby who brought Dick and Mary to into our world. It was a privilege and honor to get this wonderful puppy on his way to an exciting life in the show ring. You could see the pride in Dick's eyes when Kolby walked into the ring,
We will miss him terrible.

Dear Mary and family, our sincerest condolences. RIP my friend.
Dickie and I became closest of friends while we were working at Glass Containers and attending QVCC. He was best man at our wedding in 1975. Life's travels took us apart, but our time together was the very best. Will always remember.

For many years Dick has been our business partner, colleague and friend. He was a young man when he joined our staff almost 30 years ago.
We find it hard to imagine that we will no longer receive daily e-mails and telephone calls concerning projects, offers as well as technical solutions. But beyond this, we will miss his friendly talk were we new him as a good friend.
We have lost a reliable, loyal and devoted colleague and friend.
We send Mary, Jean-Philippe and Alain our sincere condolences and much strength, which will be needed during this difficult time.
A real void has been created, which can only be filled with the loving memories, thankfulness and good thoughts of Dick's rich and full life.
Our sincere condolences

Dickie was a wonderful friend to many. I met him through our mutual interest in ham radio on-air competitions. I was new to the area and Dick and his wife Mary were very welcoming. Their young sons at the time were energetic and happy children with plenty of room to play, animals to enjoy and activities to do. Dick worked very hard for his family. His employer was an international company and those demands took Dick on the road fairly often over the years.
Dick welcomed me and was always happy to see me. I was happy to call him a friend.

My wife Kerry (KB1SBD)and I visited several times there and enjoyed the Xmas parties and contests. He was a good person sharing his success and hobby un-selfeshly with many of us. I know you are all lovingly proud of him and his accomplishments. He will be warmly remembered and greatly missed by all of us Amateur "Ham" radio community. Dick Pechie was a great man and one of the kindest individuals I have ever met in my life. He always treated all of his son's friends like they were his own. He was always quick to invite you to dinner, offer advice, or have some quip about life. Many nights around the pool we shared stories and he imparted on us his life experience. He raised two sons who are both hardworking and truly good people. I don't think you can ask much more of a person and the legacy they leave behind. He will be missed by all and be remembered by friends and family.

Condolences to the entire Pechie family in this time of sorrow. I will always remember Dick for his sense of humor and hospitality, even though he never forgave me for making too many ham sandwiches out of his fridge. He also taught me the only French Canadian swear word that I know. Most of all, he was a kind and loving man that I am honored to have known, he will be sorely missed.
