Aunt Evelyn: We're sorry for your loss in Uncle Chela. I'm so glad I had a chance to visit with you both in January. Kitty, Hazen, Kyria, and I enjoyed visiting you both on Uncle's 89th B-day, last summer. I will always appreciate the vegetables, season after season, Uncle would share with my Mom before her passing and after my Dad passed. Living out of state, it meant so much that he was helping to look after her in this way. My sister, Marilyn was touched by his prayers for her health and acts of kindness towards her. That meant a great deal to both of us.
I can still envision myself looking over into your yard and enjoying all of Uncle's flowers and garden of produce. (I was always impressed with his neat garden rows.) And seeing him pop-up from weeding on his hands and knees, like my Dad.
