Obituary of Victoria Shirley Jolicoeur

Victoria Shirley (Buschka) Jolicoeur, 90, of Putnam, CT, died Sunday March 15, 2015, at the Westview Care Center, Dayville. Beloved wife of, Raymond "Pic" Jolicoeur, they were married December 1, 1956 in Putnam. He died June 19, 2012. Born December 21, 1924 in Webster, MA, daughter of Steve and Stella Buschka. Shirley worked for many years at the Danielson Curtain Company. Shirley spent her youth in Webster, moving to Putnam after her marriage. She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister, she will be remembered as a kind soul. She leaves her children, Denise Tsanjoures and her husband George of East Putnam, Ron Jolicoeur of Downers Grove, Il; her daughter-in-law Judith Jolicoeur of Downers Grove; her grandsons Chris Tsanjoures of Putnam and Jackson Jolicoeur of Downers Grove, her siblings, Dolly Sosnowski of Dudley, Julie Dibonaventura of Webster, Hazel Buschka of Webster, Tom Baxter of Webster, several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by siblings, Michael Buschka, Billy Buschka, Clark Buschka, Leon Buschka, Alice Buschka, Martha Kenneway and Olga Buschka. Calling Hours will be Friday, March 20, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Smith and Walker Funeral Home, 148 Grove Street, Putnam. Funeral Service Saturday, March 21, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home. Spring Burial in ST Mary Cemetery.
