Obituary of Jennie Ann McGhee

Brooklyn - McGHEE, Jennie Ann (Shnerch), 91, of Brooklyn, passed away Sunday, April 5, 2015 after a brief illness. She was predeceased by her beloved husband William Bernard McGhee. Originally from Pittsburgh, PA, she was a devoted wife and mother of seven children. She was an avid reader, traveled extensively and was involved in many activities throughout her life. She leaves her loving family: daughters, Kathryn Moore of Portland, OR, and Mary Elizabeth Chudnow and her husband David of Tolland; sons, William McGhee and his wife Jan of Hampshire, IL, Richard McGhee of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and Robert McGhee of San Clemente, CA; daughters-in-law, Maria McGhee, and Sandra McGhee; her grandchildren, Daniel, Virginia, Kathleen, William, Brian, Matthew, Rachel, and Stephanie; and 5 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by two sons, Thomas and James. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at Most Holy Trinity Church, 568 Pomfret St., Pomfret.
