It is a very sad time for the family of Joshua Good. We all have loving memories of him at a younger age. I would like to share one with you all that I will never forget. Josh and his family lived next door to Jim and I at one time when he was very young. His dad (Jim's late brother, Bill) was a great gardner with an incredible green thumb. He grew prize pumpkins and one year he decided to try and grow a prize watermelon. The vine took over the whole garden and he tended to it every day. One day, while Jim and I were outside, Bill came home in his memorable Volkswagen Bug. Bill was walking over to say hello to Jim and I and here comes Josh...running from the garden, barely able to carry this giant watermelon. He was so excited and ran smiling from ear to ear to his Dad. Josh had just picked Bill's prize watermelon that he had been growing for months to show him how much it had grown. It didn't grow anymore after that but it was so hilarious that we couldn't stop laughing, not even Bill. I know that Josh is with his Dad again and planting seeds in Heavens' Garden. We will miss you Josh, rest in peace in Paradise. Whenever I look in Uncle Jim's Garden, I will think of you and your Dad.
Love Eternally,
Auntie Di, Uncle Jim, Lindsey, Jimmy, Spencer and Nancy XOXO

Josh was a really great extended part of our family. He was creative, talented and a bundle of fun all rolled up into one person. He loved life and lived it to the fullest. It was always so hard to stay one step ahead of him because he could be a handful. In the two years he lived with us we appreciated the fact he never minded hanging around with us old farts. He took us to places we had never visited and were right down the road from us...places we could go for walks and fishing.
He had his own apartment downstairs in our house, but always decided he wanted to be close to us..so he would sleep on the couch. We finally decided, who needs a living room and let him take over that room where he wouldn't have to run up and down the stairs for his clothing and shoes. There were many family nights we had together watching movies and enjoying chinese food or pizza. He used to watch pirates of the carribean over and over as well as fast and furious...He just loved movies, even chick flicks :)
Something I (Jennifer) always admired about Josh is his concern for others. He had a big heart and missed his father soo much. I could understand what he was going through because my father also passed at a young age. It was hard for him to be without his father, but he always knew someday that he would be reunited. He loved calling you on the phone every chance he got. What a huge smile he had and a skip in his step. Always brought him comfort to speak with you and you were always there for him when he needed. Distance seemed to be no barrier. We tried to give him good parental advise and keep him safe from harm. He really made things challenging, but we never gave up on him because he always tried to do the right thing.
I can still remember the times I came home from a very tiring day of work, and he would be in the backyard digging around in our scrap lumber pile with my husband. He wanted to surprise me and made a wishing well. We all went to the local farm store and he wanted chickens and I wanted ducklings. It was fun picking out the cutest chickens and ducklings in the bunch. He would cuddle up on the couch with those 4 baby chickens and never complained about the poopsies. We would keep those babies in the house in an aquarium and he knew I was nervous to put them outside because of coyotes and foxes, etc. He and my husband surprised me again and built a nice huge cage that would keep all those babies safe at night. Me and Josh would sit on the back steps watching those babies settle in go to sleep for the night and we would talk about his dad and you for hours. He couldn't wait until he could see you again and was trying to save up for a trip to florida.
He always felt he had so little to give...little did he know he gave so much to so many. His loss is heartfelt and he will be missed dearly. Our deepest sympathies to you and your family

The Love between a Mother and her child is endless. It's a bond that last for all eternity. I would imagine the most difficult thing to do in this world is to bury a child. May you find some comfort in knowing the love you and Josh share will transcend all time and distance. Your love will continue to grow until you are both reunited in God's Heavenly Kingdom. He will be your beacon of light, he will be your North Star. He will guide you, protect you, and love you always. He will be your very Special Angel above waiting to see his Mama again.......Kim, Kevin, Matt, and Ashley, please accept my deepest condolences. May God hold, bless and protect Josh for all eternity.....God Bless....Ron
