Kobe Blake Woodmansee was granted his Angel wings on July 29,2015, following a battle with premature birth at only 25 weeks weighing only 1 lb 11 oz and having severe chronic lung disease. His entire 70 days of life were spent surrounded by family and friends and NICU staff, that Kobe touched in many ways throughout his short yet very memorable life.
Kobe's life would seem to short to many, but those who were touched by him understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. His gentle smile and most precious face could melt the hearts around him and though he never spoke a word, his voice and thoughts could always be heard.
Although Kobe's battle made him appear frail, he possessed strength, perseverance, and an ability to overcome incredible odds physically challenges. With his courage he led us to believe that each day is truly a blessing and an opportunity to create lasting memories.
With Kobe's passing we remind others that his life is one to be celebrated. Although we will miss him dearly each and everyday, we will carry him with us and he will remain in our hearts forever.
