Obituary of Jeannette Dufault Lepire
Jeannette Dufault (Lusby) Lepire, 93, of Putnam, died at her home early on August 3, 2015, and lived a long and wonderful life of three components that she took joy and pride in equally. She was born October 28, 1921 in Putnam, CT daughter of the late Arthur and Aldea (Caisse) Dufault. Having raised three children who became solid citizens made her proud as she was a wonderful mom, while she took great satisfaction in her work, first as legal secretary with St.Onge and Karkutt and as office manager for U.S. Congressman William St.Onge’s office in the home district 2 of Connecticut, and later as a Probate paralegal at St.Onge and Brouillard in Woodstock, CT. She continued to work until just 7 years ago at age 86. Jeannette also took great care with her active participation and leadership positions in the VFW ladies Auxiliary in Putnam, her district and statewide. Her active life made her well known and respected by many long-standing friends in Putnam and all over CT.
She is survived by her children, Carl Lusby and his wife Anne Sargent Lusby of Ellsworth ME, Arthur Lusby of Nashua NH, and Janet Lusby Facer and her husband Jim Facer of East Hartford CT, along with two grandchildren, Catherine Lusby (Francini) Monda and husband David Monda of Venice FL, and Keith Lusby and wife Heidi Olschefski Lusby of Medfield MA, and three great grandchildren, Jake Lusby-Johnson of Venice Florida, Alexandra Lusby and Benjamin Lusby of Medfield MA.
Calling hours will be Wednesday, August 5, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Smith and Walker Funeral Home 148 Grove Street, Putnam, CT.
