Obituary of Leo J. Lefevre

Leo J. Lefevre, Sr., 86, died Friday, August 14, 2015 at Westview Nursing Home in Dayville, CT. He was born May 7, 1929 in Brooklyn, CT. Son of the late Joseph and Emelia (Herard) Lefevre. Leo was a Korean War Veteran serving with the United States Army. He was an avid Red Sox, Phillies, Eagles and boxing fan. His first wife was Cecile Sarrette who died in 1984. He married his second wife Shirley (Carpenter) Lefevre on December 31, 1989 in Ballouville, CT. Leo retired from the Connecticut Department of Transportation after 25 years of service. Leo leaves his two sons: Leo J. Lefevre, Jr. and Donald P. Lefevre, his two daughters: Karen Gervais and Sandra Pimental. He also leaves several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
