Obituary of Helene R. Brown
Helene R. Brown, 69 of Church Street, Thompson, CT, died unexpectedly at her home, Wednesday, September 5, 2012. She was the wife of the late Lloyd R. Brown, they were married in 1969. He died in 2004. She was born March 14, 1943 in South Attleboro, MA, daughter of the late Theodore and Jeanne (Vincent) Morin.
She made her home in the Thompson and Putnam Area most of her life. She was employed for many years at Acme Cotton and then at Colt's Plastics. She enjoyed fishing, trips to the casino and playing bingo. She was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother.
She leaves a son Lloyd H. Brown of Thompson, three daughters Susan T. Brown of Thompson, Hidy C. Gray and her husband Richard of Putnam, Nikki Burnett and her husband William of Ashford, four grandchildren, Nicholas Gray, Dakoda Rose Gray, Arieanna Burnett and Kathryn Burnett, and sisters, brothers, nieces and nephews.
Calling Hours Sunday from noon to 2:00 PM with a memorial service at 2:00 PM at the Smith and Walker Funeral Home, 148 Grove Street, Putnam. Private burial at a later date in Grove Street Cemetery, Putnam. To share a memory "Light a Candle" at www.smithandwalkerfh.com.
