Beatrice M. Burke, 99, formerly of Pomfret, died Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at Matulatis Nursing Home in Putnam.Wife of the late Kenneth Burke. She was born August 14, 1914 in Southbridge, MA. Beatrice was a Communicant of St. Mary Church of the Visitation. She leaves her children, Frances Clark of Sturbridge, MA, Robert Wetherell of Belleview, FL, Gertrude Imbrugillio of Johnston, TN, Michael Wetherell of Belleview, FL, several grand children, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephew. She was predeceased by her two sons Richard and Donald Wetherell. Calling hours will be Sunday, August 25, 2013 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Smith and Walker Funeral Home, 148 Grove Street, Putnam, CT. The Funeral will be 9:00 AM Monday, August 26, 2013 from Smith and Walker Funeral Home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at St. Mary Church of the Visitation, 218 Providence Street, Putnam, CT.
