Obituary of Lucie E. Cloutier

Lucie E. Cloutier, 94, of Danielson died Thursday, February 4, 2016 at Matulaitis Nursing Home in Putnam. Beloved wife of the late Lucien E. Cloutier, they were married October 29, 1941, he died July 16, 2002. She was born October 18, 1921 in St. Bruno, Lac Saint Jean, Québec, Canada, daughter of the late Joseph-Louis and Alice (Côté) Tremblay. Lucie immigrated to Danielson in 1941 after she married Lucien. She was a Communicant of St. James Church in Danielson. She loved her family very much including her family in Québec, Canada. She leaves her two sons: Roland Cloutier and his wife Lorraine of Ashford, CT; Marc Cloutier and his wife Bettina of Kent, CT; grandchildren: Steven Hemingway of Guilford, ME; Gail Lovley and her husband Darrel of Rockville, CT; Jean-Marc Cloutier and his fiancée Jennifer Rettig of Santa Monica, CA; Alexina Carey and her husband Timothy of Ipswich, MA, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her two sisters: Louise and Jacqueline. Funeral will be Monday, February 8, 2016, 11:00 AM from the Gagnon and Costello Funeral Home, 33 Reynolds Street, Danielson, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12 Noon at St. James Church, 12 Franklin Street, Danielson.
