I feel a very special place in my heart for Uncle Jay! I got to meet him in 2012! I wish I could have met him sooner! I could see the love in his heart for “Susie” & vice versa! I feel that my Aunt Sandy is so blessed to have had him for her husband all these years & he was a lucky man to have her!

I just found this today and am very saddened to learn about the passing of Jim. I worked at Frito 20+ years ago when Jim was there. Needless to say, he always brought a smile to my face. He was such a kind and friendly person...someone who could talk to anyone and lighten a mood whenever needed. After I left FL, I would often see Jim pass by my parents house on 21 when he was headed home somewhere. And, guaranteed, there would be an arm flying out the window with a friendly wave. I remember him stopping once when I was on the mower, not soon after my dad passed away, to just say "hey kid, hope you are doing OK!" Rest well, my old friend, the Governor. My sympathies to all of Jim's friends and family.

To Aunt Sandra and the family. You are all in our prayers. We are truly sorry.
He was a one of a kind man that always gave me a smile. I will never forget how hard he worked, that red hat with white polka dots and him stopping by around Easter to give Blondie and Pearl Easter Lillies. May we all see him again when Jesus comes. *hugs*

All I can say is what a wonderful person he was. Only knew him from Frito Lay but never forgot when he retired how happy he was to come around and shake our hand. Very, kind, caring man. My sympathy to the family.
