Obituary of Frances E. Briere

Frances E. Briere, 77, of Killingly, has left this world to join her beloved husband Donald Briere, Sr., on Friday, April 22, 2016. Fran was born on September 7, 1938 in Attawaugan, CT, daughter of the late Elmer and Julia (Ludlow) Marsh. Fran has resided in Danielson her entire life, where she raised her five children and cared for her grandchildren when they were young. Fran enjoyed playing solitaire, word searches, cooking for her family, visiting the casinos and had a great love for her two cats. Fran to some, Meme too many, leaves behind her sons; Donald Briere, Jr. and his wife Laurel of CT, Ronald Briere and his wife Ann of NC and Robert Briere of CT, David Briere of RI, her daughter Gail Salvas and her significant other Glen of CT, and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. A Chapel Service will be at 11:30 AM on Monday, April 25, 2016 at Holy Cross Cemetery, 375 Maple Street, Danielson, CT.
