Frip and Sandy: Your mother was an amazing woman and well ahead of the times. She did so much for so many people and everyone loved her including my mother.
They were wonderful friends on and off the golf course, and at Republican town meetings.
I will always remember her hospitality when she moved to Drouin Road. I brought Mom to see her new home. She loved it so much!!
I called her friend Carme at St. Mary's to tell her of the sad news and she also sends her blessings to you.
Your mother had such faith and I am sure she and Maynard and Agnes and Jim are up on the heavenly fairways with each other.
With fond memories, Janet Romayko

Dear Sandy -- I have a sweet memory of the openness and kindness with which your mother treated me waaaaay back when we were high-school friends. She was a lovely woman and clearly lived a long and good life. My best to all of you.

My deepest sympathy to the family on Irene's passing. I knew her from Most Holy Trinity Church. We would have long chats after Mass and got to know each other quite well. I visited her once at her home in Pomfret Center and was amazed at the beautiful art work she had created. As her memory lives on in those who love her, she will continue to be an inspiration. Irene lived life to the fullest and loved her church.

To Irene's family: I was one of many that took care of Irene. I'm so sorry for your lost. I thank you for sharing her with me. She was funny, and loved to make those crazy funny faces. I loved when she played her harmonica. She was a delight.....she lived a wonderful and full life.
