The memories are too many to recount. The summer weekends that started with a spoonful of Castoria immediately upon entering the house - before you took your shoes off, the Saturday morning visits to the barber, fishing on the pontoon boat, raking HUGE piles of leaves in the Fall, Christmas eve's around the silver tinsel tree, her cooking and especially those mashed potatoes, the flavor of which has never been duplicated! Later visits down to Florida, where she drove three hours one way to pick Anne and I up because we ignorantly flew into Orlando instead of Tampa on our first visit...Throughout my childhood and into adulthood, I NEVER doubted that she loved me and my family. She lived a life with a youthful heart, full of love, and gave me wonderful memories - ones that I will cherish until we meet again at the resurrection of the Just on the last Day!
