Obituary of Eunice E. Cuff

Eunice E. Cuff, 86, of Chepachet, RI, died December 25, 2016 at her home. She was the wife of the late David W. Cuff, he died March 8, 2011. She was born September 13, 1930, in Henderson County, NC, daughter of the late Reverend Arthur E. and Myrtle (Kuykendall) Jones. She was a graduate from the Blanton’s Business College in Ashville, NC with an Executive Secretarial Diploma. She later received a BA degree in Elementary Education from Annhurst College in Woodstock, CT. She taught First Grade for 23 years in the Town of Glocester School System, Eunice was a lifetime member of the NEA, and received a Lifetime teaching certificate from the State of Rhode Island. She leaves her sisters Verna Garren of Hendersonville, NC, also her guardian Angels Dick and Ellie Cutler, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings, Lois Hawkins, Joseph N. Jones died in WW2, Fralow Jones, Grace Parris, Byrd Jones, Ezekiel Jones, Gerldean Beddingfield, Easter Jones and Betty Ivey. Calling Hours will be Friday, December 30, 2016 from 3:00 to 5:00 PM at Smith and Walker Funeral Home, 148 Grove Street, Putnam.
