Obituary of Paul H. Dashnaw, Jr.

Paul Henry Dashnaw, Jr., 60, of Brooklyn, CT died suddenly at home, Friday April 7, 2017 in Brooklyn, CT. He was born on September 20, 1956 in Syracuse, NY. Son of Paul Dashnaw, Sr. and Connie Richard. Paul worked for Linden Tree Service in Abington, CT and also volunteered at Davis Place in Danielson, CT. He was an avid fan of the New York Yankees and the New England Patriots. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his grandchildren. He leaves his father Paul Dashnaw, Sr., his step-father Bob Burhaum, his four children Billy and Stephanie Cyr of Rogers, CT; Sheri and Joe Asklar of Marlborough, CT; David and Laurel Callahan of MA; Danielle and Eric Kopf of RI. His eight grandchildren Kyle Cyr; Britney Cyr; Brianna Cyr; Hunter Kopf; Tyler Kopf; Desiree Callahan; Trevor Callahan and Adrian Callahan. His five sisters Donna and Rene Deloge, Jr. of Putnam, CT; Brenda and Scott Lovely of Putnam, CT; Cindy and James McCormick of Putnam, CT; Terry Dashnaw of Foster, RI; Julie Dashnaw of Putnam, CT. His three step-sisters Lorraine King of Monticello, ME; Georgina Steiger of CT; Joann Therrien of Smyrna Mills, ME. He also leaves several Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews. Paul was predeceased by his mother Connie Richard, a son Jimmy Cyr, his stepfather John Richard, a niece Roxane Acquarulo, a sister Alberta Dashnaw and his grandparents Joseph Dashnaw, Alberta Dashnaw, Howard Horner and Lillian Horner.
