Obituary of Ruth Tyler
Ruth W. Tyler, 84, of Eastford, CT died, May 9, 2017 at Day Kimball Hospital in Putnam. She was born on August 1, 1932 in Killingly, CT daughter of the late Walter and Viola (Staples) Warren. She grew up in Danielson.
Ruth was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She served as a Youth Chaperone at the Baptist Church for several years in the late 60's. She was office manager for almost 25 years for Thompson Aluminum Co. in Southbridge MA.
She loved to sing and garden. She had a lovely flower garden that had many admirers and for many years had a large vegetable garden. She also love to travel. She was fortunate enough to visit many countries and had lots of wonderful memories of the exciting activities she and her husband experienced. But her greatest love was for her family. She loved spending time with her grandson as he was growing up and was very proud of man he has become. She loved playing miniature golf, shuffle board and all kinds of card games.
She is survived by her husband Richard C. Tyler, her daughter Debbie Bishop, son-in-law Charles Bishop, grandson Matthew Sweeney, sister Shirley Lamothe, brother and sister in law Robert and Margaret Tyler and her nieces and nephews.
