I am so sorry to have lost you, my childhood friend. We had many happy days playing together on Grove St. in Wauregan until I moved away. We lost touch for many years until one day I went back to visit my hometown and found you working at the post office. We recognized each other right away even though it had been many years since we last saw each other as children. After that, we kept in touch through Christmas & birthday cards and lunch dates in the summer. Rest in peace dear friend. I will miss you.

I first got to know Estelle when my sister Denise was her neighbor at Salem Village. At one point, Estelle and I we were both members of the LiR group at QVCC in Danielson. Most recently, Estelle and I socialized through the Canterbury Seniors Club where we went on a couple trips with the group and shared monthly Bistro Luncheons as well as monthly Potluck Luncheons in the Canterbury Community Center. Despite her physical limitations, Estelle was always pleasant and could usually be seen with a smile on her face. Not only will she be missed by her close family members, but many of her friends and acquaintances will miss her too. Rest in Peace, Estelle.

Renee and Family,
My deepest condolences to you and your entire family. I was so shocked to hear the news. Estelle was a wonderful person, ready to help anyone. She helped out not only my aunt and uncle, Maria and John Leandro, but always was ready to help my parents at any time, especially in the good ole days at the post office. Poor Estelle would have to fill out all the registered letters and parcel paperwork for them when they shipped their many letters and parcels to Azores. She's going to be missed. It'll be hard. It'll take time and lots of it, the pain lessens but it never truly goes away. You find a way to live with it. May your cherished memories of all the things you did together help you through your time of sorrow.
