I had the pleasure of working with Bob for many years at National Marine Fisheries Service in St. Petersburg, FL. He was the consumate professional, hard working, always pleasant, and unassuming--just doing his job and being one of the nicest guys in the office every day. I had no idea about his college football or significant military service, guess he was too humble to mention it, which isn't surprising.
Rest in peace my friend! God bless you and your loved ones.
