Obituary of Laura Lee Hunt
Laura Lee (Czajka) Hunt, 49, of Putnam, passed away peacefully at her home in Putnam, CT on October 15, 2017 after an illness. She was born on January 24, 1968 in Worcester, MA, daughter of Marion (Skip) Czajka and her step-mother, Rita Cardinali, of Quinebaug, CT. She was predeceased by her mother Elizabeth (Pastva) Czajka. She was the beloved Mother of Nathan, age fourteen and Corinne, age twelve of Putnam, CT. Also surviving are two brothers James Czajka of Snoqualmie Falls, WA, Gene Michael Czajka of North Windham, CT; three sisters Christina Konarski and her husband Ken of Pomfret Center, CT; Victoria Brandon of Moyock, NC, and Anita McNeany of Marlborough, MA. She is also survived by nine nieces and nephews, and twelve great-nieces and nephews.
Laura loved flowers, gardening, birdwatching and cats. She was a devoted NASCAR fan; her favorite driver being number 48 Jimmy Johnson. She was also an active Patriots fan. Her biggest passion were her children, she would let nothing stand in her way to provide the best as she could for them. She enjoyed doing outdoor sport activities with them, loved snow, sledding, and making snowmen with them. She loved being a mother, it is what kept her going and fighting for many years.
