Thompson- Richard Varanai, 75, of 14 Alix Drive, passed away Thursday, February 6, 2014 at home, surrounded by his loving family, after a very long battle with COPD. Richard leaves his loving wife of 34 years, Patricia Varanai, five stepchildren, five step grandchildren and eight step great grandchildren. Richard also leaves six children, nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren by his former deceased wife. He leaves three sisters one is deceased, three brothers one is deceased, many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank everyone for all the support that he received from his doctor and hospice care. Also the care others gave to him in his time of need and to all the people that knew and loved him. He will be missed. Rest in peace Richard we love you, your loving wife Patricia and family.
