Obituary of William L. Remington
William L. Remington, 71, of Danielson, died March 10, 2014 at Day Kimball Hospital in Putnam. He was born January 24, 1943 in Sterling, CT. He married the love of his life Barbara Carpenter in 1975.
William loved fishing, hunting and his cat. He enjoy going to flea markets and collection coins. He was a very social person around the area and never missed an opening day of fishing off the bridge in Sterling. In his earlier years he worked as an inspector at Pervel Industries and later in life he worked at Big Y in Danielson.
He is survived by his son Jason Remington of Ballouville, CT, his five grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Barbara Remington and his mother Dorothy Remington.
A calling hour will be Monday, March 17, 2014 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at Gagnon and Costello Funeral Home, 33 Reynolds Street, Danielson, CT with a Funeral Service at 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home.
