My condolences to rosie and don.
I was devasted when i heard the news. My dad was able to make it i was not. Bill taught my dad everything he knew i was two days old when i met bill. We used to visit bill almost everyweekend growing up. Never forget him cutting the combs on my moderns. Or catching frogs in his pond. He was like a grandad to me and i miss him dearly. I hate that last three years i havent been able to see him as much and regret it everyday now. I want to make bill proud of me and am glad i have all happy memories. I miss and love you bill.

I am so sorry for your loss and will keep you all in our prayers.
Bill built our house in 1994, and it was a great experience. He would have my husband and brothers help him and we all learned so much from him. He was a great person and really cared about his birds, years later when we went to visit after we had our son we left with 2 different kinds of chickens, Cole was very excited about his new pets. Bill will be missed and Lars and I are sorry we missed the services as we were away, Bill was truly was a great person and a great builder.

I first met Bill in 1956. Being a 13 year old city boy moving to Pomfret I was in aw of this guy in a leather jacket with fringe. We soon became friends. Bill taught me to fly fish, shoot, coon hunt, and enjoy the outdoors. Later in life I brought a lady to meet him. Lucy soon knew why he was so special. One day I stopped in and told Bill I was going to ask her to marry me. He said if you don't I will. The next day I asked him to be my best man.
Donald, Rosalie, Barry and your families have our prayer and deepest sympathy.

My most sincere condolences to the family. While I did not know Mr. Sirrine, I work with Rosie each day. The devotion that she and I'm sure other family members had to Mr. Sirrine was truly amazing. For the five years I have worked with Rosie, each day she would finish at school only to go care for and spend time with her dad. She spoke of his spunky personality and toughness all the time. I am very sorry for their loss.
