Ruth was a favorite neighbor to visit while I was growing up in Abington. She gave me many a hair cut and perm, while we listened to Buzz tell his stories. I loved her house with all its braided rugs and homey décor. She was a great friend of my mother, Lois. They ended up as neighbors at Seely Brown Village, so felt right at home there, looking out for each other. My condolences to all the Paine family. May she rest in deserved peace.
