I was Bob's 8th employee at FTI. When I proved to him quality in my work mattered, he made me a supervisor of the American Midwest Dental Line. We were always getting volleyball games with great picnics for a good production month. We had great fun with the famous tomato race. He had such enthusiasm and great ideas. He was a superb gentleman and always treated us like family. When I became one of his team, I did some calling of potential employees for interviews as we grew and needed more production. He said " Jules, get me some farm girls who are used to working hard and getting up early in the morning." Indeed he was right about that. We always compared notes about our families and we totally bragged about our 3 daughters. He always had time to care about our families and was the first to reach into his pocket when I'd head up collections for co-workers weddings, birthdays and so on. I recently updated him on our family as my daughter informed me he was ill. I got to thank him personally for being a wonderful and all-time perfect boss. I am glad that I did not wait to write that letter. I will truly remember him for being tops in the boss line. My regards to his beautiful family members and the FTI family also.
