Judy Milligan posted a condolence
I met John through work, and spent more than a few hours with him this past year. He was a caring and sensitive man, who's every thought seemed to center around what impact his actions might have on another person. I was very sorry to hear of his passing, and I hope time will bring comfort to his friends and family

Jim Bruneau posted a condolence
John Cartier was a good friend over many years. He lived life to the fullest, with gusto, and was a self-made man.
John was generous with his time and property, with others that had less than himself, and was always willing to lend a helping hand. John dealt with the setbacks in his life with aplomb, and never complained about the hand life dealt him. John's life pretty much
epitomized the following;
" Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in one pretty and well preserved piece, but to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, worn out, and defiantly shouting "WOW what a ride!".
John's favorite saying was- "Who's having fun now!"
We will miss and remember you, John. Rest in Peace.
