Obituary of Walter R. Radlo
Walter R. Radlo, Jr., age 63, of Montgomery, NY, formerly of Fabyan Road, Thompson, CT, died unexpectedly December 9th in Newburgh, NY. He was born in Putnam, August 17, 1941, son of Walter R. and Julia (Ball) Radlo.
He had made his home in Thompson for over 30 years, moving to Montgomery. He was employed at the former Putnam Hertzel Company for twenty years as the Plant Manager. He was recently employed at Prismatic Dyeing & Finishing, Inc. Newburgh, NY as Director of Dyeing. He was an avid reader and enjoyed fishing and fixing old cars. He will be remembered as a hard working and caring person.
He leaves two sons Stephen Radlo of Thompson; Richard Radlo of Palm Beach, FL; two daughters Julia Radlo of Thompson; Kristina Radlo of Thompson; Two brothers Henry Radlo of Danielson; Stanley Radlo of Hawaii; His former wife Susan (Sweet) Radlo of Thompson; two grandchildren and several nieces. He was predeceased by a Daughter Rebecca Radlo and a brother Edward Radlo.
The funeral will be Wednesday December 22, 2004 at 11:00 AM at the Smith & Walker Funeral Home 148 Grove Street, Putnam, CT. Calling Hours Tuesday from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the Funeral Home. Burial in Holy Cross Cemetery, Danielson, CT. Donations may be made in his memory to The Salvation Army, 855 Asylum Avenue , Hartford, CT 06142.
