Obituary of Florence B. Meunier

Frances B. Meunier, 90, of Brooklyn, CT, died Friday, November 2, 2012 at Webster Manor in MA. Beloved wife of Norman J. Meunier, they were married November 4, 1943 at St. James Church in Danielson, he died in 1999. She was born December 31, 1921 daughter of the late Walenty and Pauline (Gurka) Dombek. Frances was a Communicant of St. Anne Church. She worked for Arrow-Hart as an assembler. In 1951 she went to work at Gould's Cotton Mill in Danielson as a winder. After that she worked at Jacobs Rubber as an inspector and she retired from there in 1983. Frances and Norman enjoyed traveling. She also enjoyed time with her children and grandchildren. She leaves her daughter Jo Ann and her husband Clifford Basley of South Killingly, her grandchildren James and his wife Susan Basley and their children Rachell and Harrison of Danielson, Chris and his wife Karen and their child Jack of Cape Cod and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers Walter and Chester Dombek and her sisters Helen Czapryna and Stella Goyette. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, November 5, 2012 at 10:30 AM at St. James Church, 12 Franklin Street, Danielson, CT. Calling hours will be Sunday, November 4, 2012 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at Gagnon and Costello Funeral Home, 33 Reynolds Street, Danielson, CT. Burial in Holy Cross Cemetery.
