Obituary of Matilda McCormick

Matilda Lena (Royland) McCormick, 89, of Millbury, MA, died November 5, 2012 at UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester, MA. Beloved wife of Robert McCormick he died in 1978. Matilda was born December 2, 1922 in New Bedford, MA, daughter of the late Frank and Matilda (Gorang) Royland. She enjoyed her Instant Maxwell House Coffee, cigarettes and playing bingo. She lived in Worcester, MA for fifty plus years and then moved back to Connecticut. She later moved to Millbury, MA to live with her daughter. She leaves thirteen children, twenty-six grandchildren, thirty-three great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. Two of her children predeceased her. There will be calling hours Thursday, November 8, 2012 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at Gagnon and Costello Funeral Home, 33 Reynolds Street Danielson, CT. A graveside service will be held Friday, November 9, 2012 at 11:00 AM in Hope Cemetery, 119 Webster Street Worcester, MA.
