Obituary of Florence (Dupre) Rousseau

Florence (Dupre) Rousseau, age 83, of Putnam, died Friday, February 18, 2005 at Westview Health Care in Dayville after an extended illness. She was born in Putnam February 13, 1922, daughter of the late Emma and Regis Dupre and lived in Putnam all her life, a communicant of ST Mary Church of Visitation. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Francis (Red) Rousseau. She leaves her son Francis JR Rousseau with whom she made her home; a daughter and son in law Dolores and Robert Kneeland of Thompson. She also leaves many nieces and nephews. Florence retired after 30 years of working at the American Optical to travel with her husband. A Memorial Mass will be Friday February 25th at 10:30 AM in St. Mary Church of the Visitation, 218 Providence Street, Putnam. Burial following in ST Mary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to Hospice of Northeastern Connecticut, P.O. Box 632, Putnam. CT 06260.
